blue eye?

blue eye?

hi guys. we have a lavender aracauna who is about 5 yrs old.
The odd night I have had to put her to bed as she roosted in the run.
last night I noticed one of her eyes was a cloudy blue. any ideas?
owned by 2 Aracauna's, 1 RIR, 2 Welsummers, 3 Silkies, 9 cats and 1 dog!

cataract? shes getting on a bit so possible. also small possiblity occular mareks .

so i have just gonenout to give the hens some treats before bed. her eye is not blue anymore.... last night it was non reactive to light and now its normal. how weird isthat. i will check her again when its dark.

When eye is damaged it will go cloudy blue, It's a kind of protection. My little sister had a guinea pig that had a grass seed in her eye and went completely blue-ish white. When I managed to get the seed out it returned to normal over night.

its the same. fine during the day and at night its blue. same eye all the time!
