hello, I made this the other day...

made the same way as my other pottery, with natural clay and fired in an open fire.

Anyone wanna guess the breed?

No good at guessing breeds when I can see the feathers - but I love this chicken!

Yours is defo a 'Black and Tan Rock' . All hints for Christmas having fallen on deaf ears ,I too got a potty chook for the garden at the weekend . Its approx bantie Orp size.Made by someone locally, stoneware/weather proof. She makes loads of creatures - the best ,I think, are smoke fired Hares - I will have one one day! Ros

It's a buff Phoenix Fowl, with a few sooty feathers.
Guinea fowl & a lot of surplus poultry equipment.
