A taste of summer
Cold and miserable here in the valley this morning. So, porridge for breakfast enhanced with a portion of home grown red currants cooked fresh from the freezer. Lovely.

Re: A taste of summer
sounds lovely, we have porridge every morning but the redcurrants sound super. It's grey and misty here as well. However, from tomorrow, breakfasts will be far more exotic since we're off gallivanting to Australia and New Zealand so I probably won't be posting on here again till late February!
my chooks: Sage&Onion, Roger the randy cockerel, Squawkbox, Bonnie 'N' Clyde, Pancakes, Custard, Omelette & EggNog. Plus four garden cats and another half dozen feral ones that I feed. And a nursery of pipistrelle bats in the verandah roof ..
